If there were a celebrity handbook, this should probably make the Top 10: Whatever you do, don’t make a sex tape.

The latest celebrity in a sex tape pickle is Kendra Wilkinson, formerly of reality show “The Girls Next Door,” which featured her and two of Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriends.

Wilkinson is the subject of her own E! channel reality series “Kendra,” is married to professional football player Hank Baskett, and is a new mom, by the way.

She’s reportedly trying to block Vivid Entertainment, which owns the rights to the tape, from releasing it. She has said to the press that she’s “devastated” by the thought of it going public. Wilkinson admits she made the tape with a trusted ex-boyfriend but made it for private purposes only.

Considering the long list of other celebrities this has happened to, you would think Wilkinson should have known better.

Don’t trust anyone.

According to other reports on the Internet, however, Wilkinson might not be as devastated as she’s leading everyone to believe. It seems she was shopping the tape around a few months ago.

Wilkinson isn’t the first person, celebrity or otherwise, to find herself in this pickle.

Pamela Anderson became the infamous Pamela Anderson after a sex tape made with ex-husband Tommy Lee made the rounds. Heiress Paris Hilton, a celebrity who’s famous for being famous (and for a couple of reality shows), also found her star rising after a sex tape was leaked onto the Internet, and Kim Kardashian, yet another celebrity famous for being famous (and for a couple of reality shows), found herself exposed to the public in ways she didn’t want herself exposed.

Even former presidential nominee John Edwards can’t escape the sex tape scandal. A sex tape exists, according to aide Andrew Young.

Game over.

The same can’t be said for celebrities.

While a sex tape still is scandalous in political circles, in celebrity circles, this is the kind of thing that can make you even more famous.

Where would Pamela Anderson be without it? Possibly not the infamous Pam Anderson, scandal goddess. And what about Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian? Their celebrity owes its bright light, at least a little, to these sex tapes.

It’s gotten to the point now that celebrities figure if a tape like that is going to make it out into the public — and make a lot of money, by the way — well, they better get in on it and make a few bucks themselves.

Certain things you do will always come back to haunt you. A sex tape is one of those things.

How will Wilkinson explain something like that to her son when he’s older and hears about it from his friends or stumbles upon it himself?

The next time someone says, “Hey, honey, let’s make a sex tape,” maybe your answer should be: “Nah. I’m good. Let’s just go buy some shoes or something.”

Michelle “Bombshell” McGee and Jamie Jungers, already united by their alleged dalliances wiith famous men, may soon join forces officially.

The mistresses of Jesse James and Tiger Woods have agreed to host a show called “Celebrity Cheaters,

According to the show’s creator, Bobby Goldstein, McGee and Jungers have verbally accepted the job.

Goldstein, the man behind the original “Cheaters” series, is currently shopping around the program. He says the pitch involves catching cheating celebrities with “with their pants down.”

McGee, the first of Sandra Bullock’s husband’s alleged mistresses, has been cashing in on her infamy of late.

The tattoo model will dance topless at Las Vegas’ Deja Vu Showgirls club this Friday.

Jungers, a 27-year-old cocktail waitress, came out as Tiger Woods’ fourth alleged mistress in December.

Wrestler Bill Goldberg became the seventh celebrity eliminated from The Celebrity Apprentice’s third edition during Sunday night’s two-hour broadcast.

The Apprentice star Donald Trump fired Goldberg after his three-person “Rocksolid” men’s team lost the competition’s sixth task to the five-person “Tenacity” women’s team and Trump decided Goldberg shouldn’t have volunteered to have served as his team’s project manager.

“Obviously if you’re as competitive a person as I am, you want to win everything.  But at the end of the day, I think Donald makes his own decisions, and based upon what he thinks is right.  I take full responsibility for my team losing because I was the project manager,” Goldberg said following his elimination.

“No question. If I didn’t take full responsibility for my team losing then I wouldn’t be in this f–king car.”

Goldberg and musician Cyndi Lauper had served as the teams’ project managers for The Celebrity Apprentice’s sixth third-season task, which required the teams to give makeovers and prepare album and promotional materials for up-and-coming country music artists Luke Bryan and Emily West, respectively.

However Trump felt that even though Goldberg was the only “Rocksolid” member who had yet to serve as project manager, he shouldn’t have volunteered to manage the task given the extensive music industry experience of musician and Rock of Love star Bret Michaels.

“I think Brett, frankly, should have been project manager,” Trump told Goldberg after the wrestler admitted Michaels had done the vast majority of the task’s work and that, given the benefit of hindsight, he had been “wrong” to volunteer to serve as the team’s leader.

“I was unfortunately misinformed by my own stupidity, in that I figured that since I hadn’t been project manager I made to step up.  And as a man, I stepped up,” Goldberg replied.

“But I think you were wrong in that decision also… this isn’t about being a man or anything, it’s about making the right business decision,” Trump said.

“Then I made the wrong decision,” Goldberg responded.

“You did make the wrong decision.  Goldberg, you’re fired!” Trump said.

After the men left the boardroom, first-season The Celebrity Apprentice runner-up Trace Adkins — who served as one of Trump’s advisors for the task along with Donald Trump Jr. — made it clear he disagreed with Trump’s decision.

“I think we made the right decision.  What do you think Trace?” Trump said.

“I don’t think so,” Adkins replied.

“You would have fired [who]?” Trump asked.

“Brett,” Adkins said.  “I point-blank asked the industry insiders who they thought the project manager was and they all said Brett.”

“Well you know, one of the reasons [I fired Goldberg] is because he should not have been the project manager,” Trump said.

“He should not!  The mistake was made yesterday morning [when the task started and he volunteered],” Adkins told Trump.

“He wanted to be project manager [but] he shouldn’t have chosen this task,” Trump said.

“He should not have,” Adkins said.

“That’s the primary reason I fired him… does that make you fell better?”  Trump asked.

“Yes,” Adkins replied.

“Good.  Now I feel better!” Trump said.

“Tenacity’s” victory — which was determined by a panel of three music industry insiders — seemed to surprise to both Trump and several of the women, including music manager and America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne, who returned to the competition midway through the task after missing the entire fifth task.

“It’s very good,” Osbourne said before the women’s win was revealed.  “They did a much better job.  A much better job.”

“Do you think it’s better than yours?” Trump asked her.

“Yes.  It’s more informative,” she replied.

“You know what I do [too], but it’s not up to me,” Trump said.  “It all comes down to who gave their artist a better shot at breaking out.”

But the 38-year-old singer says that writing his memoirs helped him realise that he had to be free with himself, and not keep any more secrets. His book hasn’t been published yet.

The Puerto Rican wrote about the advice others gave him to hide his sexuality.

“Many people told me: ‘Ricky it’s not important’, ‘it’s not worth it’, ‘all the years you’ve worked and everything you’ve built will collapse’, ‘many people in the world are not ready to accept your truth, your reality, your nature’.

“Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage.

“Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.”

The singer, born on December 24, 1971, has been in the public spotlight since the tender age of six, when he starred in commericals in Puerto Rico.

He spent five years singing with teen group Menudo from 1984, before moving to New York and releasing his first album in 1988.

A television acting gig with Alcanzar una Estrella (To Reach a Star) boosted his popularity and was followed by stints in US shows Getting By and General Hospital, and on Broadway in Les Miserables.

By the time he released his fourth album Vuelve in 1998, featuring the football World Cup song La Copa de la Vida (The Cup of Life), he had become a global music name and sex icon.

His next album, Sound Loaded, featured the hit song She Bangs. Further albums included La Historia and Almas del Silencio.

Martin said on his website that he felt this was the right moment for him to come out of the closet.

“If someone asked me today, ‘Ricky, what are you afraid of?’ I would answer ‘the blood that runs through the streets of countries at war … child slavery, terrorism … the cynicism of some people in positions of power, the misinterpretation of faith.’

“But fear of my truth? Not at all! On the contrary, It fills me with strength and courage.

“This is just what I need especially now that I am the father of two beautiful boys that are so full of light and who with their outlook teach me new things every day.

“To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with.

“Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now.

“Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment.”

Ricky Martin is no longer denying the rumours: He has confirmed that he is gay.

In a statement on his website, Martin says: “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”

The Livin’ La Vida Loca singer’s sexuality has been speculated about for years, but he’s never directly addressed it and has often been seen with beautiful women.

There are rumors circulating (again) that the 72-year-old comidiane and actor was found passed out in his chair around Midnight of Feb. 6 by his wife Camille. Camille called 911 and Cosby was rushed to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

Jenny from the Frank the Entertainer Basement Affair reality TV show was eliminated from the show January 24 after Frank found out about a “nude” photo of Jenny circulating on the Internet.

Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair is a VH1 reality television show starring Frank Maresca also known as the Entertainer, who previously starred in I Love New York, I Love Money and I Love Money 2. His parents are set to have a big role in the show since he lives with them. The show premiered on January 3, 2010, with the series to run a total of 10 episodes. Fifteen women will be competing for his love.

I don’t know about you guys, but this clearly isn’t a nude photo! Jenny looks hot though! Looks like Frank needs to read the dictionary some more.
